In the application markets of the Web2 , artificially inflating rankings has always been the most significant factor undermining the fairness of rankings. Various platforms have attempted to regulate and reduce this behavior in a variety of ways, but with little success.

In fact, artificially inflated rankings exist throughout the Internet world, including popular voting contests, search engine rankings, music charts, movie ratings, and even major e-commerce platforms.

Such behavior significantly undermines the authenticity of rankings, which are the primary source of popular information for users. Therefore, in the Web2 , the lack of authenticity in rankings has long been a serious problem that affects user experience and even leading to security risks.

To address this issue, 3Base introduces an unprecedented on-chain rating system.

Users' ratings and reviews for each application are authorized and recorded on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) through their wallets. 3Base will not charge any additional fees; users will only have to pay a small amount of BNB as gas. All player rating data will be permanently stored on the BSC for other users to view, ensuring fairness and transparency. In addition, the cost of posting comments in gas effectively discourages the use of technical means to manipulate ratings and ensures that all commenters are real and valid Web3 users.

Additionally, in the future, 3Base will use anti-witch detection to identify potential relationships between various commenters, further filtering out duplicate and invalid comments, providing users with the most authentic application evaluations.

Additionally, 3Base introduces a business model called “Vote to Earn”.

Users have complete ownership of their comments, and every comment made on 3Base will reward users with BP. To enable quick community review and rating of newly added applications, we will hold a limited-time Vote to Earn event. During this event, users can rate applications on a scale of 0 to 5 points within seven days. If an application's rating is above 2.5 points at the end of the voting period, all users with ratings above 2.5 will share the BP pool. Otherwise, users with ratings below 2.5 will share the pool.
